Briquette Production Supervisor

Malindi Water and Sanitation Company seeks to recruit a qualified and motivated Briquette Production

Supervisor to oversee briquette production operations within its sludge-to-resource programme at

Sabaki Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

a) Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Environmental Science, or

related field with a minimum working experience of 3 years OR

b) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Environmental Science, or related field

with a minimum working experience of 5 years.

c) Practical experience in briquette or biomass production.

d) Basic electro-mechanical Plant and process troubleshooting ability.

e) Strong understanding of safety and hygiene requirements.

a) Supervise daily briquette production activities including carbonization, drying, mixing, and

pressing.

b) Ensure safe handling of sludge-derived feedstock and adherence to OHS standards.

c) Operate and maintain briquette production machinery and equipment.

d) Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with set specifications.

e) Maintain production records, inventory logs, and equipment checklists

f) Train and supervise production staff and casual workers
